Hello everyone!
I am new to the community and just wanted to say hello.

I am looking for good advice on the challenges with eating raw and sharing recepies.

My biggest concern right know is how to transition to an exclusive raw lifestyle.

So I am interested to know how  most of you stay  motivated?.

I'm new to raw foods as well & slowly transitioning over. I've so far read about 4 raw food books by various authors. I find each approaches the topic differently. I'm doing it meal by meal basically. So far, I eat a raw breakfast & part of lunch is raw as well. I also have raw snacks. The best motivator for me is seeing how my skin has already improved, as well as my energy level. I've even lost a few inches although I only started going raw two weeks ago!

Have you experienced any detow symptoms like feeling tired, or getting sick or cranky?

Re: raw
Yeah, I found myself getting cranky if I didn't eat raw foods most of the time. And I would get tired if I ate regular, cooked foods. Meat especially. Chicken, so-so. The lightest is fish. I didn't get sick tho. Did you? As for energy, I always feel more energetic when I eat raw foods.

I'm also new as well, I'm about a week into it now. I read that you were suppose to do it gradually, don't just go 100% raw right away.
It's easy to be motivated when you start out so I can't tell you how a person stays motivated in the long term yet (until I get there!) but so far just knowing what raw foods do for me and my body is enough. I've been looking to lose some weight, clear up my skin, stop feeling so tired all the time, etc... slowly but surely I can see it's starting to take effect.

I'm new to raw food too (well I have dabbled but this time I want to make it work for me). It would be get to chat with others trying to go raw (a few of my friends thing its crazy) I really want to eat fully raw but crave cooked food in the evenings,my bigest downfall as i can eat raw food day without cravings. I have started my own blog with the hope that it will keep me focused!

take care
