Since trying 80 10 10 I felt better and better about myself, my health, my house, and where I live. Everything has the potential to get better and for me raw food started it all. It uses food purely for energy and health. It's was such a vibrant way to live it made me so happy that I found this lifestyle.
I've healed from acne with scarring, migraines, headaches, hypothyroidism, seizures, PMS, digestion issues, insomnia, cellulite, anemia, depression and more. I always felt healthy and I rarely got sick with a cold but something was missing from my life, I wasn't feeling completely happy and full of life; I just never would have known it without trying 80 10 10.
When I met my fiancee he told me about raw food. We did so many cleanses together and started to feel more and more alive. With each cleanse or fast we realized we wanted to feel better and we did!
As soon as we started raw food we really sped things up. I noticed that all of my conditions went away. I felt like I had the best vibrational energy moving through my body. It felt like each cell of my body was waking up. I lost that extra 10 pounds, my skin felt softer, I haven't had a migraine or headache since then, I slept better, I had the energy to workout, my breath smelt better, my consciousness expanded and I felt better than I could have ever imagined possible. You don't know until you try it!

Here is another of My raw recipes invented tonight and which I am enjoying right now. :-)

Dont be put off that there is coconut in it, as I gave My Love some to try and He doesn't like nuts of any kind and He liked it. The coconut balances out the bitterness of the lemon so give it a try!

Dragon's Green Autumn Smoothie

1 handful baby spinach (or greens of choice)
1 cup coconut water/filtered water
1 ripe banana
1 apple (gala are good as they are sweet) - cored but not peeled
1 tablespoon maca powder
2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
1 tablespoon coconut butter
1 lemon - not peeled but remove seeds
1-2 tablespoons agave syrup/raw honey
4-5 ice cubes

~ blend and enjoy!

I am looking for a Raw Food Pyramid but only found one so far at this site: http://www.ionizedwater.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/booklist.html

I don't like it because it does not tell me how many servings I need from each group. I am new to raw foods and have read several recipe books but everything is so general. Any info of servings per group would be a great help.

Thanks in advance!

Has anyone here ever had a colonic? It's usually 'recommended' that raw foodies do it as part of the detoxification process. However, I always read about mixed feelings on it - some say it's perfectly safe and fine, while others advise against it. I'm debating whether to get one, but so far I'm thinking no just to be on the safe side. Yet, thinking about 'cleaning out house' is very appealing to me. Some would argue that our body has everything it needs internally to completely clean ourselves out, and is in no need of any medical procedure. What do you think?

I am new to the community and just wanted to say hello.

I am looking for good advice on the challenges with eating raw and sharing recepies.

My biggest concern right know is how to transition to an exclusive raw lifestyle.

So I am interested to know how  most of you stay  motivated?.

I am having a hard time figuring out how much produce to buy. Usually by the time I get to the middle/end of the week I find a lot of veggies especially the greens have problems with being fresh.

I need advice on how much produce to get in a week and how to store it where it lasts longer. Do you go to the store more than once a week for produce?

i'm going to have my family over for my uncooked food birthday party, and i'd like everyone to enjoy it, so i'm looking for some suggestions about what i should make.
i'm thinking raw pizza..salads, hummus, gauc, salsa w/ crackers & cut veggies, "trail mix", apple fries and other dried fruit chips, and lots of "sweets".
anyone have any ideas, suggestions, recipes?!!

i'd like to make an array of things, a variety, for everyone to have a beautiful buffet of uncooked foods to choose from, the only problem is i'm still in school, and i dont know if i can arrange my preparations in such a way that i can make a lot and all that i would like to in enough time.
anyone have any suggestions as to this?

thanks ahead!!
